Woohoo! Just got it. Haven't had a chance to play the beast yet though, I have WAAYYY too much homework :yell: :yell: :yell: As soon as I'm done, I'll fire it up though!

So, which input do I plug into? It's got Bass and Normal on the left side EQ and Bass and Studio on the right hand EQ. A review will follow. Thanks!!!

Haha, I was going for that Old English-style vernacular. "By God! The devil is come! Fend for your lives and cast the demons to the devouring embers of the underworld!" ...But I guess I failed... :laugh2:

Hmm, I'm ditching homework for the time being. I tried firing up the Bassman, but it seems to be getting no juice...I'm gonna shoot the seller an e-mail.

No power at all! :crying: I'm really worried because there's no real good amp techs in my area...

So far, no reply to the e-mail I sent out
:saeek:

Re: My Fender Bassman is come!!!

At the risk of being Mr. Obvious...did you check all the tubes to make sure they were not damaged, and seated securely in their sockets? Also, is there a little switch on the back that is marked "1" and "0"? If so, make sure it's in the 1 position.

All the tubes seem to be ok. They're secure and everything. There's no switch that is marked "1" and "0". There is an A--OFF--B ground switch though. Could there be something else I've overlooked?

Even if the tubes were damaged, wouldn't I still be getting power? This thing isn't even lighting up.

That switch wouldn't have anything to do with you not getting power. If you know how to safely discharge the filter caps, you can open up the amp and make sure something didn't become unplugged inside.

Unfortunately, it sounds like either it was purposely misrepresented by the seller, or damaged during shipping. What shipping method was used, and did you insure the package? UPS automatically insures packages up to a certain amount, but if the seller didn't insure the package, UPS may not be able to help you. There has to be a Fender authorized dealer in your area that can get it fixed for you.
