My friend's SG broke again.

Re: My friend's SG broke again.

what is the actual pickup you would be trading your 500T for?

I'm not considering swapping pickups anymore. However, I think it would have been a 490.

IMO, of these two, the ceramic magnet 500T is the better option for the Flying Vee. It rocks. Nobody is expecting delicate, clean finger pickin' arpeggios from this axe.

You've been to Scotland. Did you spend a few hundred quid on a meal over here? If you did, you were ripped off, haggis are abundant in the wilds so are dirt cheap!

Only during the official hunting season. :D Black market haggis is very, very naughty, Diocletian. Overhunting could reduce the breeding population and send yon haggis extinct.

Re: My friend's SG broke again.

I've heard true-life horror stories of guitars on stands on stage, that got knocked over by one of the other band members stumbling around. Most stages are too small and crowded. I put mine back in the case during breaks (and set it up on some thing, where it won't get stepped on).

Yeah...like clumsy moron drummers that look like a bull moose! Well...that is who would trip on my guitar cord EVERY TIME he would pass by. I would not put my guitar down until he was off the stage or behind his drums.

I've easily spent way more than 60 quid on a meal in Scotland - especially with pint after pint of Tenants Special.
