My Guitars Got Some Print Catalog Exposure

There's this men's casual clothing company called 32 Bar Blues that's headquartered nearby. I know the owner. He's a music buff and the catalog and website have a vintage music theme, both visually and the names of the products. It's pretty cool actually. Anyway, he borrowed some of my gear for a catalog shoot and the catalog came out today.

Here's the cover:

You can see my Heritage 150 with the prototype Seth Lovers. Also, that stompbox is my Ibanez SD-9.

Here you can see the Crazy Heart Gretsch:

This blonde Tele is one that Seymour put together for me. Note the neck pickup is a Custom Shop "StraTele."

Pretty cool, right?

No, none of my amps made it in. He had my little '52 Valco tweed, but I guess he didn't use it. The Gretsch shows up a few other times too.

Re: My Guitars Got Some Print Catalog Exposure

I can't see the guitars because the clothing prices blinded me.

What pedal is that under the shoe, in the first pic? Maxon, something?

Very cool, they're famous now haha.

Since I do the graphic design, wiring diagrams, magazine ads and a bunch of the product photography for Martin Six String Customs I got to sneak (ok I asked permission haha) my Les Paul and relic Charvel into the half page color ad I made for them that's been running in Vintage Guitar magazine for a while now. I always get a laugh out of seeing them each month the ad runs. I keep telling everyone their worth more now that their famous....not sure anyone is buying into that though. :chairfall

I was about to say . . . the gear is cheaper than the clothes. :D

(But sweet idea nonetheless.)

Re: My Guitars Got Some Print Catalog Exposure

Pretty cool, Evan! I used to work with some of the 32 Bar Blues people when I worked at another clothing company that Bruce started. Same kind of deal--the clothing is at a premium price, but there's a pretty dedicated niche that is willing to pay for it. The whole blues thing is a pretty good hook, I imagine they'll be pretty successful once they build up some more steam.
