I've bought one of these for not much (quite a deal now that I've looked more into how much these things go for around here) a little while ago as some may remember (maybe a month or so).
Been trying to adjust it to my liking in the last month but since my amp stays at the rehearsal place I didn't have much time to experiment too much.
Well today I got some more time to do so since the drummer was late (more today as usual) and well...
this thing rocks!!!
I use it through my JCM800's clean channel and had some problems keeping the fuzzy high-end out of it... turned out that backing off the presence a little as well as lowering the gain was just the solution... Now that thing is tight, clear and well, just plain what I was looking for (as far as higher gain tones are concerned...).
So now, considering that both my channels on the marshall satisfy me (I like the clean a lot for some reason), the crunch is great, add a Spina TS-7 or SD-1 for more gain and now the V-twin on the clean for super-heavy stuff, I just don't know what else I could possibly want/need from my rig...
I'm just really really satisfied with my rig (for now :smack
