You not only have a problem...you have one very strange looking guitar! :laugh2: :laugh2: :laugh2:

Re: My name is Curly, and I have a problem ...

Now how did I know that it was gonna be blue????????????

Very.......interesting.......looking guitar. That neck looks AMAZING!!!

$650.00 looks like a pretty good deal for a very quality guitar.

CONGRATS!!!!

Re: My name is Curly, and I have a problem ...

Is that a battery box i see on the back? Is it active electronics in the guitar?

Re: My name is Curly, and I have a problem ...

$650 is a killer deal on that guitar! I had one and sold it. :smack: It was the best playing guitar I ever had. Make sure you treat the neck every 6 months...

Butch and his sniff Albert Lee...

Sorry the pic is so big.....

Re: My name is Curly, and I have a problem ...

Oh, BTW I disconnected my silent circuit because I had heard it had derogatory effects on the tone. I was right to do it....

that's the silent circuit that I mentioned, and Butch referred to, NOT an active tone circuit

thanks, Butch ..
I had read that the old ones had more highs without the silent circuit, but like I said, I just wouldn't know .. but I'll look into disconnecting it.

I'm sure you did justice to yours, since it seems like it's your kinda ax!

Re: My name is Curly, and I have a problem ...

Congrats on the score, dude! What's the problem, aside from having another guitar to feed?

The problem is, I have a bad habit (GAS), and this is my support group! :)

all in good jest, of course ;)

Re: My name is Curly, and I have a problem ...

thats a sweet looking quality axe there. I agree with most, the body is ugly with a capital "U", but damn that neck is just begging for some attention. Very cool.

well, that, my friend, is the other part of the problem! ;)

Re: My name is Curly, and I have a problem ...

that is pretty cool curly i wanna know what the differences are with the circuit and without. i bet you can put a mini switch in there to turn it on and off.

Re: My name is Curly, and I have a problem ...

Now that I can see it, I realize it's the best color for that model. If I had a choice, I'd buy the same blue one. The only reason I haven't bought a Musicman is because the bridges are far into the body, which makes the guitar feel small in my hands.
I like the way they feel, but at 6'1'', they look like a tennis racket strapped on. he he

Re: My name is Curly, and I have a problem ...

Very cool. I like it. I never have cared for the Strat body but with this one you get Strat sounds w/out the classic Strat body.
