my new vox tonelab le !!!!!!!!!!!!!

i just ordered my new tonelab le from musicians friend yesterday and should be receiving it just in time for the weekend. i don't know about anyone else, but i'm sick of this digital amp modeling thing. i'm never satisfied with any of them.

I thought the LE digitally models 16 different amps. While you do have the valve reactor technology to warm things up and breathe life back into the sound, you're still buying a digital modeller. A very nice one though. :bigok:

yeah i know, but it sure beats the heck out of line6, digitech, and boss. at least in my opinion.

you're sick of modellers, so you buy one? welcome to another digital modeller! not that it's a bad thing, but the same complaints come from vox's stuff as the line 6: some sounds are like a blanket over the amp, or in the distance. but I dig 'em: vox's and line 6's! in short, you should be happy, just don't expect it to be something it's not.

i know what it is because i used to own a tonelab and it sounded great. i wanted something better for digital recording and with a foot pedal, so i started buying others.

as far as tone is concerned, i haven't found anything that sounds better. if you know of something that has better tone, let me know.

i dunno. i haven't researched it thoroughly enough. once i hooked up with a line 6 head, i was done. enough power and models to suit me. if i went crazy on it, i'd probably end up with a vox modeller, a sansamp supremo rackmount thingy, or a boogie studio rectifier rackmount dealio.
