It powers on. Tubes glow. Jewel comes on. Popped HT fuse over and over.

What about with the tubes out? Does it pop fuses with the tubes out? Your tech should have a "current limiter bulb" on his bench...was this used?

Great question. I'll ask. I'm not feeling very confident in his progress right now but don't know of any other options in town.

some kinda good news---Orange will look at it under warranty even tho I am not the original owner. I have to eat the shipping cost from CA to Georgia but eh, that's cheaper than a new amp

Just heard back from Orange for those that are interested. Pretty awesome cause it only cost me to ship it out there and all in all it could have been much worse. What did surprise me is that

Our Tech had to replace the fuse and fuse holder and one of the 12AT7 in the FX loop

On the one hand, stoked it's something minor. On the other hand.......what the heck? I replaced every tube in there (including the 12AT7) and the fuse a million times.

So the big culprit was in fact..............the fuse holder? Ha man. That's crazy. Oh well!

Hopefully get it back soon.

Great question. Who knows. But on the plus side, he only charged me for some fuses which was like $2 or something so he's ok by me.
