My StoneTone block review has begun

The StoneTone block showed up in my mailbox today. I am going to change the strings on the B. C. Rich tonight and get my baseline or control sound clips. Then in the next few days, I will install the StoneTone and another fresh set of strings and get the comparison clips. Yeah, I am going to burn a set of strings doing this but I figure this is the best way to make all things even. I don't want to do the baseline clips with dead strings. Once I have both sets of clips I will upload them to Sonic Visualiser.

Good practice.

Should prove interesting.

Without wishing to appear mean, it might be a good idea if Mr. Stonetone could sit this thread out until after you report back. As in, respond to intelligent questions rather than try to direct the discourse.

Haha no GF's ( I think my wife would kill me if so :D )....no just some friends that I have had since 94.
Makes stuff easier when you can read some and understand some....but man it is one hard language to learn ;)

Anyways when will this stonetone be revealed?
^Better to learn the alphabet(another Greek word)...Im lucky my wife learned Russian when she was in Highschool, so she taught me the letters, they are close as the Russian adapted their own version of the Cyrillic writing...

I wonder if the Greek language can be written in Latin letters. And how does the alphabet work? Each seems to have more than one syllables.
The closest approximation is Cyrillic.

Securb,

I too am watching and waiting... Do you have, or have you ever used a large brass block that you would be able to make any references to? With the cost of the stone tone blocks, I definately cant afford to retrofit all my guitars, (especially since Ive dropped bux on brass blocks already) but, if they do prove to be superior, I would consider upgrading my top one or two.

The B. C. Rich is my first Floyd ever. My only refrence is the stock block in this guitar. Maybe I will get my hands on a brass block next? Once I have the stock and stone block data it would be nice to have a third for comparison. If some one has a 37mm they could pop out of their guitar for a couple of weeks that might be cool.
