Dave, wiser words have never been said on this forum. There is no absolute for guitar players and guitar tone. I shake my head in disbelief when I see people bashing a certain brand or product. What doesn't work for one guitarist could be the holy grail for another. We all have different techniques and styles of playing.
A $30 Danelectro Distortion and a Berringer amp might work better in some applications than a boutique hand built amp and a vintage TS. You will not convince most around here that the setup could be better. Some people have a narrow idea of what a guitar should sound like, if your guitar rig doesn't sound like theirs, yours don't sound right.
If I bought a Danelectro stomp and one day I stomped on it and it shattered all over, you bet your arse I'd be complaining about Danelectro products. And any time someone would bring up "Danelectro", I'd be trashing it. If I plugged into a Behringer amp and it sounded like crap to me, you bet your arse I'd be ragging on Behringer amps. And there's absolutely nothing wrong with that.
*Why people do get butthurt about people complaining / trashing products... it's because for some ridiculous reason, they identify their own persona with the product in question. So, you trash a product, they make the wrong mental connection and suddenly the trashing is about them personally. The problem is theirs, not yours.
For example, a blues player that turns up their nose at a Super Strat or an analog cork sniffer that frowns on anything digital.
Heh that ain't Danish...^Jeg kan gøre det også. LOL
Is that stone thing doing anything???
I have it installed. I still have to do the intonation. I have rehearsal tonight I will definitely finish it up tomorrow night. I then have to collect the data and write the review. I will give you a thumbs up/down before I write the full review because I know this crowd is an impatient bunch.
What have you been doing all day?...can't find good help these days
He's been getting "stoned"....
