My Twangbanger Rocks!!

I finally got a chance to give my guitar a good workout through my amp at gigging levels last night. It's the first try of my Twangbanger in anger. My God, I should've bought fitted 1 of these eons ago!! Full, sparkling satisfying tone!! It's THE only single coil for the bridge of a Strat. IMO of course. Thyanks to all the guys on here that helped me come the the decision to get 1. You rock, and now, so do I!!! :headbang:

After all the hair splitting strat and tele players have done on here, I'm thinking that some of the best combos are

Twangbanger/2 Surfers or Ant I or II's with Custom Bridges for strats.

Hot or Jerry Donahue Bridge/APII or Ant neck for Teles.

I've always loved teles, but figured the Strat gave greater versatility. Theres no doubt that the bridge pos'n in a Tele sounds huge. Thanks to the Twangbanger, my Legacy does too! Once I've sussed hooking up my Marshall to my pc I'll post some clips. It has an emulated line out, so we'll see.

I use one with APS-1's in the neck and mid, great setup.

I've been looking at one of those for a while now. Only tight money has stopped me from trying one out yet. That and the Alnico 2 mags (currently have Alnico 5 Fender Fat 50's in my Strat), but apparently the 8.3k wind and the base plate more than make up for it. Will try it soon...
