I’ve owned a 1982 Fender US Vintage '52 Telecaster (Fullerton) for some time now. Last night, while changing the strings, I removed the bridge, and to my surprise (and a bit of dismay), I discovered that the bridge pickup is not the original one for the guitar, as I had thought.
It’s a Seymour Duncan. At this point, I’d like to know exactly which pickup it is. Could you help me identify the model? Is it also possible to determine whether it’s a vintage pickup or a much more recent one?
Do you also have any ideas about the neck pickup? Do you think it might be the original one, or could it have been replaced as well?
Thank you for your help!
