NAD that ended in tragedy

I'd love to know how things turned out. I was interested in buying a Falcon Grande at one point, and hadn't heard anything bad about Tone King's stuff.

Oh wow, this thread really blew up! (Just like my brand new Imperial did :cautious::cautious:)

Anyway, the kind folks at Chicago Music Exchange took it back. I used to live in Chicago, and don't anymore, but I have enough family and friends there that I was going to the city anyway, and just dropped it off for a refund.

It quite honestly left a bad taste in my mouth, and I'm thinking of checking out a Friedman Runt instead

1%-3% of all manufactured items are defective from the factory, regardless of industry.

Given that this is the first time I've heard of a Tone King product dying... Sorry that you're a statistic.
