NAZGUL/SENTIENT COIL TAP HELP

1 vol, 1 tone push/pull tone 3 way toggle.. so i wired it like the diagrams on here. both inner coils tapped but when bridge is tapped it seems to get a whole lot of low end. my brand new jackson dk7 has same pickups tapped usuing a 5 way blade switch not push pull. the bridge on that when tapped is lower output and twangier. is it possible that in some strange way its also turning on the neck inner coil at same time regardless of selector switch? bridge has grn/bare to ground, black to 3 way, red/white to push/pull. up is grounded. the neck ive tried two ways, same wiring as bridge but was way to low. swapped to white/bare to ground, green/black to tap (push/pull), red to 3 way. only common is the push/pull has a shared ground as per the seymour duncan diagram. i do hear a difference when 3 way is changed to mid or neck position. in middle position bridge has minimal impact though.

any ideas oh gurus of SD?
thanks,
OZ

Wait, what? You mean split? I didn't think they were offered in a tapped version. Words matter here, as they mean very different things in pickup-land. You can test which coil is active by lightly tapping on the screws of slugs with a screwdriver- you will hear it. What diagram are you using to wire it up, and if you have pics, that can help, too.
