Just finished paying off my behringer ultrabass bx4410a! My bass isn't home but I can't wait to experiment with the sound I can get with it! i think it will do well with my bands style of music http://youtu.be/N0jAEk5OePU

It's "hail pizza" haha and he's like 19 but he does look pretty young, yeah it's aluminum cones and I too was wondering about how they would be different from paper
Re: NBAD (not sure if that's the right abbreviation)
Well I blew out the one speaker on the amps first gig -_- can't find any way to get a new one for it either, it sounded amazing when it was working though!
Re: NBAD (not sure if that's the right abbreviation)
If you bought brand new, that should be a straightforward warranty claim. If Behringer cannot or will not furnish a replacement driver, use your consumer rights to demand a full refund.
Re: NBAD (not sure if that's the right abbreviation)
I used to use an aluminum cone Hartke 2x15" cab for gigging for a long time with a Gallien Krueger 1001RB head. I also had a Hartke aluminum cone 2x10" I stacked on top of it. That rig was bulletproof. Never tried a Behringer though. I am sure you can find someone selling aluminum cone drivers out there. I would buy a better quality replacement. Just match up the ohm rating and get it installed.
Re: NBAD (not sure if that's the right abbreviation)
That is the risk you run with older Behringer stuff. I have a couple of their newer mixers I am happy with, but I'd stay away from their bass amplification.
