Ordered this online on Black Friday. Picked it up at the local GC this past Thursday night. The first new instrument (as opposed to previously owned) that I have bought in the last 25 years.

I love it. Some minor adjustments to the action and it plays great. Active pickups with three band eq make tweaking the tone on the fly simple. Someday, I may put SD bass Blackouts in it. For now, it has renewed my enthusiasm for playing bass

I like it, I recently got into the 5 string bass stuff, I have friends that told me that it would be hard to adapt, but so far no issues. I'm sure you will have hours and hours of fun with it!

The extra string and fretboard with will take a little getting used to, but I live the way it sounds. I got used to a 7 string guitar, so it shouldn't be a problem. Practice, practice, practice.
