NCAJOKGD

Aceman

I am your doctor of love!
New cheap @$$ old junky Kramer guitar day!

Been eyeing these for quite some time. Just had a sort of 80's metal yet blues mojo about them.

Finally saw one in a GC for a hunnerd bones, so I hit it. Going to be a relicing project. Gonna hit it with the belt buckle, the sand paper, perhaps a cigarette burn, and who knows what else!

I'm thinking of adding a Duncan Hot Rails split just so it can go from metal to blewz. Haven't had a start in forever!

Re: NCAJOKGD

Bah - that matters not! especially after a Hot Rails hits it. Plays and feels decent.

Re: NCAJOKGD

my buddy got a Samick that looks identical, 'cept for the headstock

he just, literally Thursday, put three Lace Sensor Hot Golds, a TusqXL nut, and some Locking Fender branded Ping staggered tuners.

oh and a big brass blocked Wilkerson trem

I think its his new favorite

Re: NCAJOKGD

It would look good if you simply installed a white pickguard cut for only a zebra humbucker and volume. It would look like a sunburst VH guitar.

the pickguard may be unique to the Kramer
my buddies Samick was a 7/8 sized pickguard

Re: NCAJOKGD

Love these old Kramers! Dirt cheap but play very well! And a Hotrails will scream regardless of the wood ;)

Re: NCAJOKGD

How about both? :10:

Of course, I would never speak of a beautiful woman like that so I was talking about the guitar. :cool2:
