I've been reminiscing on how good the G12K100 sounded in a 1x12 Crate cabinet I had a long time ago. It was sold alongside the Powerblock series and I've been missing that sound as I also sold that cabinet quite a while ago. I've been hunting for good deal on another G12K ever since. Snatched this beauty up and had it couriered yesterday.

I'm not sure what year it's from but it has the older Celestion logo in it which is pretty cool. I switched out the Eminence legend in my home-built birch 1x12 for it which is either faulty or just not up to par for some reason. The G12K is awesome. Amazing detail all across the spectrum. Clear, punchy and versatile. It can punch you in the face, hang back and groove and anything else.
Sounds godly and even moreso when paired with the V30 in my Randall oversized 1x12 to make a perfect live 'mini stack'. This rig easily stands up to a good 2x12 and even a 4x12 and is more portable as the cabinets can be carried separately.
