It's my first build and it works!
BYOC 250+ kit.
I added another diode in the clipping secton for asymmetrical clipping, and it gave it a very tube feel to it.
I did screw up up right off the rip by putting the only 47k Ohm resistor in the wrong place, but luckily I had a 33k, a 10k, and a 4.7k ohm resistors I could string in series to get it close enough to right. I figure if that was my only mistake on my first build I'm pretty happy, plus the fact I fixed it makes it even better.
It's sounds like it came right out of the 70's.
The gain structure is almost on the verge of a fuzz, so it makes for a pretty usefull overdrive. I love it!
It took about 5 hours to complete and was worth every second. I highly recomend this pedal for a first time builder. It comes with extra parts so you can mod it a few different ways, and I recommend doing so.
Sorry for the nasty pics, I can't find MY camera.
