I think the colour's ugly and wtf's up with the placement of those switches but it looks really cool, a PRS I wouldn't mind owning, it's amazing.

i like how the binding runs down the face of the neck/fingerboard and up around the headstock...nice touch. the rest of the guitar...SUCKS!!!

I actually really dig it, that's about the only PRS I'd really like to own!

The switches are for the sustainer system.

Worst guitar ever. Santana should never have recomended he get one...

Doesn't he also have a Gibson model? It looks like it has both a sustainer and a synth pickup. I can't imagine needing a whammy, sustainer and synth all on one song. It should also have a peizio just for good luck.

yeah he has a gibson version of that too...

it sucks also (mostly due to the stupid switch location IMO). of the two i like the gibson better but don't like either all that much to be honest.

I love the LP! Especially his black LP Custom with the FR and sustainer.

As far as the positions of the sustainer switches, You really can't move them anywhere else without even more routing of the body out.

I would think the mahaogany neck would be a little too soft for the Floyd. I'm surprised they didn't got with a maple neck.

He gets a better tone out of a PRS than anybody. I remember about 5 years ago when he was selling alot of his other personal guitars.

Yeah, I was diggin' on that too.

On second look...I *think* the axe in question might actually be Neal's personal deal. I missed this bit in the description;

"Own a Piece of History! Neal Schon is selling some of his best pieces in his collection to make room for others."

Still doesn't make it worth $12K IMO.

I also found this one Schon Custom Paul on there which seems to be a new guitar.

I really dig the neck joint & inlays on that one but I can't hang with a FRO on a Paul. The idea is just too weird...all that tone...GONE!
