Neck humbucker to pair w JB in Bridge

Is the JB loud enough to balance with the distortion neck? I was under the impression that the distortion neck was meant for the distortion bridge because it(the neck) is so high output. I thought most pickups wouldn't have enough output to balance with the distortion neck is this not true?

I used the Distortion neck's predecessor (Seymourizer II) with a Custom in the bridge and they balanced fine. There should be no issue balancing with a JB in the bridge.

i decided to try a 59 in the neck first and see how that works out. The 59 and the JB need to be acquired first. Nothing is in-hand yet.

That's a solid pairing. It's been experimentally determined that the Duncan Designed Hot Rod set is basically a JB/'59.

I enjoyed my JB with a Sentient too. The JB is a classic and the Sentient gives a touch of "modern" to the set.
