Neck mini humbucker.. JB Jr., Hot Rails or... ?

Hi everyone!
I need to change the neck pickup of my guitar (Fender Showmaster H/S/S with Floyd).
I'm using a Fender Hot Rod Deluxe III (40 watt tube amp) with a SD Custom SH-5 that makes me play clean without break up too early the tubes (I mean without have overdrive sound).
I need a pickup that can be used in clean tones without break up the tubes.. but that is also good in Shred/Prog/Metal solos. I play different styles of music (rock, blues, prog for example) but the "main" style is Shred/Prog and so I need a versatile pickup.
I saw the JB Jr. neck and it sais that is good from "heavy blues to heavy metal" so I think it will be my first choice.
I had a Hot Rails neck years ago, awesome in solos and good in cleans but I don't know if his high output will make overdrive my Hot Rod (I sold the Hot Rails before I bought the Hot Rod III).
Do You have any advice? Should I buy safely the JB Jr. and can I shred with it? Or should I go on Hot Rails.. or go to another mini humbucker?

I would say the jb Jr, I've always liked the sound from them and I think it'll fit the sound you're going for.

Thanks a lot! I was afraid that Jb Jr. was not right for the shred
