Neck strat preferences between Classic Stack or Little ‘59

Hi, new to posting here. Long time user of the full-size JB bridge and full size ‘59 neck in most Strats (HH)…but recently acquired an (HSS) Strat. I’m planning on putting the JB full size in the bridge but wanted to try the Little 59 in the neck and realized it’s ceramic. From past experience I noticed the Jr JB didn’t sound lIke the full-size (due to ceramic mags) and figured the little ‘59 was similar. To balance the non ceramic full size bridge JB, would you try maybe the classic stack neck or something along those lines (non ceramic) Thanks! This post was probably longer than it needed to be to get the idea across. Much appreciated

In my book it's not the ceramic mag, it's the physically smaller size which senses the strings at not too different points.
I did not verify my hypothesis, but maybe someone else could. Put two JBjr. in a guitar with 2 single coils in the bridge, like the Robbie Robertson Strat. Use the outer coils of both pickups in series. My hypothesis is that this should sound more like fullsize JB.

You can't judge the Little humbuckers by the magnet like you can the full size ones. Both pickups balance pretty well with the JB, but the Stack sounds like a Strat pickup, the Little 59 sounds like a humbucker (with more mids than a regular 59). They don't sound alike at al.

Hey op, off topic question for you. Do you use TB4 or SH4 versions of the JB in your Strats?

The little '59 sounds similar (but maybe a bit more compressed, middier, and less open) to the full sized '59. Difference is most noticeable clean . . . with gain up they sound almost identical to me. A noiseless single coil is going to sound very different - it will have most of the mid scoop and bright sparkly charm of a regular single coil.
