Need a little advice on prospective odd amp purchase

Found two potential "amps" locally. One is a Shure Voicemaster that is supposedly 400 watts and has two 5' tall speakers with it. The second is a Bogen MX60a that hasn't been turned on in 20 years. I don't know if the Bogen works or not. Given the gut shots I see on the Bogen, it looks like it would have the greatest modification potential and could eventually be made into a decent if not fantastic guitar amp. Not sure about the Shure Voicemaster. I know Kevlar3000 made a cool sounding clip with a Shure Voicemaster, but I don't know which one it was and I have no idea if he had to do anything to the amp to get those sounds out of it or not. Can't find the thread where he talks about it.

I'd appreciate any input you folks have.

The 400 watts you mention for the Shure is the power consumption, not output. Tube Bogens can be made into pretty unique sounding guitar amps...and you can chain all those inputs for additional mayhem.
