hi guys
ok im new to this forum just registered... and i need advice from you guys to choose a new MID pickup for my ibanez SA260FM... currntly it is equipped with neck: DIMARZIO CRUISER, mid: VINTAGE SSL2, hum: DUNCAN DISTORTION. the problem im facing with my mid pickup is that it is a true single coil so causes hum and affect the my tone when i try to combine the neck and hum together... im using a push and pull knob as well to have more options of tone... therefore would seek for advice what should i use for the mid...
im more into classic rock and blues... currently the bridge hum provdies me with good distortion and the neck with nice blue glassy sound... the mid im not very sure right now what i should put... my guitar is probably alder or basswood if im not wrong... rosewood neck and fretboard...
im using stompboxes as for effects...
