Need an opinion

Didn't finish trimming it when I took the pictures, it's late and I don't trust myself with a razor when tired.

I cut up this proof of concept on a scrap P bass guard, I figured I would use my scrap tolex from my cab I'm working on and throw it on a strat guard, think it's worth attempting or am I just crazy?

I agree.
If you want to do it then you should go for it. The worst thing that’ll happen is you’ll find out if you like it or not.
