Food for thought...Minimalist to me means less is better. I have a Fender Mustang floor with all the necessary efx...and a switch that converts it to a stomp box with five different efx..all in one box. Run into the clean channel.

1 wah + 1 modulation (chorus/phaser/trem) + one delay is all you need if your OD is sorted

Big Muff Pi. Fuzz is totally different from amp dirt and will gi e you a more 'retro' lead tone when you run it into one of your dirty channels.
