For the neck and the middle, I like the Five-Twos, or the Alnico II Flats. For the bridge, the Custom Strat will give the output you need. All of these pickups are a little less chimey than something like the SSL1s, but add a bit of warmth from those classic rosewood board Strat tones. The Antiquity Surfer II Set is also a great choice, for a little more cash. Use a boost pedal for boosted tones, and it is Strat heaven.

for those strat tones you are talking about for your guitar, i would get a trio of ssl2's. the ssl5 is a great pup but changes the notch tones.

An APS-2 trio might be nice.

I like the Twangbanger in the bridge/treble position. (Also Alnico 2 magnets.)

I would like to be able to recommend a Five-Two model with equal length magnets but such a product is yet to be manufactured.

i love the aps2 and the twangbanger but there is a tone you get, especially clean, with alnico 5 pups that alnico 2 doesnt do. if the op wants a great sounding strat set there are lots of options. if he wants to nail the tones in the clips then i stick by my ssl2 suggestion
