Need Help Identifying SD pup

I bought a '77 Ibanez Les Paul lawsuit copy and I've been trying to identify the seymour duncan that was loaded in the bridge position. Here are the clues:

I bought the guitar in 1995, so the pickup must be at least that old.

It is black, and has the 12 large screw caps just like the SD Invader, although the words "Seymour Duncan" are not on the face of the pup like on the Invader.

The back of the pickup has the SD logo engraved and a sticker reading "BL"

Everything seems up to SD standards: four wires, typical construction, etc.

I'm going to reinstall it just hear how it sounds- haven't heard it since I was a kid!

Hi, welcome to the forum.

Sounds like an Invader, but the BL sticker confuses me?

I just looked at my Invader, and it just has a B on it??? Now I'm confused...

Re: Need Help Identifying SD pup

I just looked it up, it should have a "B" on it or SH & whatever the number is (I think it is 8 for an Invader?)

I didn't see any BL, I'm stumped...

I got one other idea...

Maybe the "L" has something to do with your pickup having no logo?, mine has a logo, and just says "B"

:scratchch

Re: Need Help Identifying SD pup

Older Duncans didn't have a logo they had like the model indication followed by the letter of the person that wound it. The JB often had a sticker on the back saying "JBJ", the J again standing for the person that wound it. I believe there wer "JBL" pick ups as well, but if not someone correct me on that. In that case I'm 100% sure you have an older Invader,
