Need help on pickup covers

Okay, this guy on Ebay is auctioning 2 chrome humbucker covers. My friend, who owns a double fat strat, wants some covers. So, is there anything special about them that should he should be worried about? Is there going to be a problem installing them? Do the pickups matter?(they're stock)

Pole piece spaceing ! Make sure you measure E to E on center. I'm guessing
a Strat is 2 1/8.
