I need a bridge pu for this guitar

I need a real versitle pup that that can be split and run the gammut of old classic rock all the way to the heaviest palm mutes and crunch?
I play heavy rhythms like old metallica a lot and leads like yngwie J malmsteen
my amp is a peavey ultra lead 120 plus
Pu's that i have tried and did not like were the JB and DD(too harsh)
I want a tone that has good body to it even when playing the highest notes

With a basswood body and a maple neck/fretboard, it's gonna be pretty light/bright. I think you might be better looking at the DiMarzio range, their pickups suit this type of application better.

i might take a look at the parallel axis trembuckers for that guitar, the patb1 is a nice medium output smooth sounding pup

Try one of the customs?
or a dimarzio breed
