Need li'l '59 for Tele neck

I'm looking at buying a Tele with some sort of PAF-ish neck pup sometime in the future. The cheapest option would be to get a MIM Standard Tele and fit a li'l '59 in the neck - except SD doesn't make a neck model for Tele! Would I be able to fit a Strat li'l '59 in a Tele?

There's quite a few Tele pickguards that accept standard sized single-coils. Worst case is you'ld have to buy a new pickguard, or reroute the one you have.

I'm about to mate a Lil59 neck to my Lil59 bridge in a Tele. Should sound killer.

I guess the real question, is what routs are in that tele?

I don't know myself. My US tele had HSH.

Will the rerouting be a hassle or no? I'd love to have Tele twang and PAF smoothness together in one guitar. That and my Strat together would be all the tone I need.
