Need PUP advice on 82 American Strat

ive got this vintage 82 strat, and its pretty nifty. It currently have a hotrails in the bridge and a duck bucker in the, however i was thinking of moving the duck to the mid and puting a JB jr in the neck. Any suggestions?


also, i have a epiphone les paul deluxe, (meaning it has minibuckers). I opened it up to find no marking or engravings on the pups, and i was wondering if epiphone mini's didnt have an inscription or if the previous owner put customs in.

Usually Epi pickups won't have markings. I'd put a SD Vintage mini (SM-1) at the neck and a Custom mini (SM-3 ?) at the bridge and call it a day.

The JB Jr at the neck works well for a full, round humbucker type tone.
