There is a JB available in a local guitar shop that I want to buy.
The music store clerk read the white sticker on the back of the PuP and told me that it says "JBJ." THe sticker clarifies that it was built before 2002 (as shown on the SD website chart.
Here is my question:
Does an old JB sound as good as a brand new one. I am assuming that it may even sound better/warmer than a new JB made in the past 2 years. I'd prefer a new one because I want to make sure that I am getting the same quality PuP as one JB that may have been built early 90's/late 80's. Maybe PuPs are like wine and sound better with age???
Can you guys give me some quick feedback because I am supposed to pick up the PuP saturday morning.
