Just got this used G&L legacy. It's wired super funky. There's a rail humbucker in there but not sure what kind it is. In position #1, all three pickups are on. Position #2 is out of phase so I get this nasally thin tone...which I don't think i'd use very often unless I feel like playing the intro to "wish you were here."
The middle and neck pickup sounds okay but is still to thin to my ears. The guitar itself is bright rather than dark and full, so I'm looking for pickups that's going to help beef up the guitar. I still want to stay with the SSH configuration.
For the bridge...debating against a jb jr and lil 59. Neck and middle...not so sure.
