I loaded my lp customs with distortion in the bridge and left the 59 in the neck and I really like this set up. Now, I have an lp standard that I want to change the stock pup's in. I need a good combo that will give me some scream when I want it and some quiet time.

What about a CC in the bridge too, they're supposed to be decent clean.

And you could go with an Alnico 2 Pro in the neck, great cleans and nice warm open gainy leads...ala slash.
