Neodymium Bar Magnets

i have ordered these types of magnets before and the field doesnt extend much but it is strong within an inch or so

wonder what they sound like compared to say an A8
or A5 for that matter

curious.............

they seem to be the right size

super low

may not be able to get them low enough

may have to raise action

may need to play slide

dang

I would expect neo-bar magents to pull the strings down and affix them to the pickups, thereby producing no sound, or just one sound only once.

I have a Entwhistle HDN humbucker. It's very loud, hard, articulate, and bright. I changed out the nickle steel baseplate for a brass baseplate which rounded off the treble and beefed up the mids. I would like to try one in a really low K humbucker in the neck position like a Dimarzio HFH.

I would think *tiny* neo magnets are worth exploring. But nothing close to the size of a typical pickup magnet.

I never tried this but it looked interesting.
