I'm not a big fan of the huge corporate musical equipment companies and will buy locally every chance I get, but I personally have NEVER had any problem with Musician's Friend. I've been doing business with them since they were a little start up company out of El Cajon. That's over 27 years ago. They've become successful. Their deliveries have been prompt (with the exception of an ES 135 that I purchased a couple of years ago and wasn't their fault), their prices rival if not beat the locals, and they give me credit. I'm sorry that you had some problems with them.
