New acoustic song I'm working on

This is a very rough sketch of an acoustic thing I'm working on. It's in an awkward tuning and I just turned the record button on and just started playing so I'm still working through ideas and melodies and stuff so creative criticism is welcomed, but don't be mean!

Larrivee D-05 played into an AKG C3000S straight into garage band (didn't feel like opening Pro Tools) so it's just rough. A little compression (it is an mp3 after all) and reverb.

Do you mind sharing what this "awkward" tuning is?

The tuning is E B E F#B E (from lowest string to highest)

Eadd9(no 3rd) if you wanna give a name to it

haha. Thanks bro but I'm actually thinking about arrangement for this one. adding some percussion and a violin playing the melody over the top. or maybe a second guitar, not sure.

As I was listening to the song, I was imagining a guitar melody over the top, I think that's the way to go...please don't ruin it with a violin.

I wish someone like you would sit down the majority of modern rock guitarists and teach them how to strum an acoustic with a little touch dynamics.

Nice simple arrangement and playing - it's a little boomy between 60-80 hz but I didn't mind.

thanks guys. I like doing stuff with a lot of droning notes so I may be doing some more rough stuff and posting it up here for some fresh ears to listen to it.
