I haven't tried it yet, one power tube busted on me. I'm gonna either swap in the tverb's 6L6s or pull two of the 5150's. Just gotta make sure I know how to do that right, haha.

Just pull the two outer tubes . That's how I run mine.

That, and set the impedance to half that of your cabinet.

Exactly. Inner two or outer two, just never 1 and 3 or 2 and 4.

Set the head to half of what the cab is. Cab 16, head 8.....cab 8, head 4.

It looks like it's been used for awhile, so you should just retube it completely, and use it with 4 tubes.

Nope, that's one of the stock options available for the Tverb at the time. I did put the space tape on the 5150 though...

I dig the space tape on there. If you can't rock out with those two heads...there's a serious problem goin on.

Looks like you're using settings similar to mine! I bump the treble down a couple notches, and my presence knob doesnt work, though. Also, my gain is down around 4 with an OD pedal.

Man how can you handle all that treble! I too set my gain down to around 3-4 and boost the amp with a TS9.

Nevermind I misread your post. Even bumped down thats still alot of treble though.

Bass at 6, mids at 4, treble at 4 = a lot of treble?

Might be my guitars, but the amp seems to be plenty bright. I usually put my treble at 1 and boost my presence to 8

Those aren't the exact settings I used, just what they were on when I took the pix, haha.
