Yeah bro, for an extra $70, it was worth it to me to get exactly what I wanted. I'm going with 2 Vintage 30's and open back.

Very nice!
I know this is more green than the other rig we were talking about but between being able to swap tubes for different wattages, the 50/20 watt switch and the much nice cab I think you'll be VERY happy plus with the prices you got you're still not hurt on the cash front!

Its okay bro. Those heads go for $1,800 new. I got one thats "mint" (at least it better be!!!
used for $1K. The cab is from Avatar runs $358.

Thanks bro. The Flexi 50 is the top of the line THD amp. Selectable 50/20 watts, runs just about any tube combo and can be self biased, master volume, footswitchable boost and master volume, separate gain & tone on the gain, single channel.

I saw an amp in one of the newer issues of Guitar Player magazine that allowed you to run combinations of whatever tubes you wanted! You could run 1 6L6 and 1 6v6 or 1 KT88 and 1 EL34, or any other combination of those same connection tubes. It was really crazy...not to steal your thread or anything, but it's amazing to me how far tube technology is getting that allows you to run such strange combinations or any tube, etc. THD is definitely an innovator in that area

Thanks guys. I'm really looking forward to this amp and cab. I'm going to use it at home and leave my Orange Rocker 30 combo at church so I don't have to lug that around. I'm going to order up some new tubes soon as well. I'll give a full report.
