You can make peoples ears bleed with the amount of gain those things have, lol. You can turn the volume down all the way and you can hear just the preamp going through the speaker, or at least I've been able to do that before.

Mind if i ask how much you paid for it. I got mine for 350 used. I love mine especially since i put 12ax7c in it.
