New Carvin for me!!!

Re: New Carvin for me!!!

No offense taken, everyone has their personal taste, I personally don't dig the traditional Fender oversized headstock shape, doesn't mean everyone else has to agree right? Carvin, Suhr and Anderson are my favorite headstock shapes, I like sleek lines and simplicity... just my taste ;)

Absolutely. I'm thinkin if i got to hold it and see it in person I'd warm up to it fast. As in instantly.

Re: New Carvin for me!!!

As a guy with previous experience, my first contact with Carvin was an amazing DC400 (which I'm still kicking myself for not getting:(). At the time the one thing I DIDN'T like about it was that headstock.

Now, those sleek lines on that headstock are perhaps the one thing I find to be the most beautiful (and we're talking about guitars that, if anything, are insanely beautiful ;))

Like you said man, it grows on you, FAST ;)

Re: New Carvin for me!!!

Ideally, a Duncan tremspaced pickup will have legs on it with 3 holes on each side, which your Nickel 59B does not. That way, the 2 screw on top and 1 on bottom will be utilized.
You'll probably have to use Duncan bolts though.

Awesome!!!! Carvin rules IMO. My Carvins are hands down the best overall quality guitars i`ve ever had and i`ve had ALOT!
