Well, I didn't get anything per se but I did take my amp for its' first service since I bought it.

Got new power tubes, had 4 5881, now 4 6L6, lost a bit of warmth but got a bucketload of clarity and power, I'm still learning its' new sweet spots but so far I'm liking it
Another small mod is that they replaced the red power light cover for blue so now when I turn it on it is purple

VEry cool! Gotta dig purple!!! I actually got NOTHING from her this year.. We bought a new TV stand a month ago for the house. She had been wanting it and then they marked it down $80. So we bought it and since it was for the house, she said this would be our gift to each other.. I got her some actual personal gifts for Christmas, she held up her end of the "bargain".. haha

I got new DiMarzio pups for my Eclipse (tone zone/air norton combo), replaced the EMG's that were in it before. Also got the RK5 Fly Rig and the Polytune pedal. My rig sounds completely different with just the pickup/fly rig additions. So happy with the result.

I used to have an AT212 as well. My only complaint was that it ran really hot and it was before they started sending them out with fans or whatever. But I ran an MXR 10 band EQ in front of it and it gave me great heavy tones and I got very nice cleans out of it too. And the heavy tones could be achieved at low volumes.

Haven't had any issues with heat myself but then again I am a bedroom player so I stay bellow 2. Yeah, I am digging the tone even at lower volumes but it definitely got louder and more aggressive with the 6L6s. Pretty darn cool combo amp actually, haven't fent the need to go for sth else (well, not that I haven't GASed for some amazing heads at my favorite music store, just can't see how I could play them at home).
