As for the drug addiction rumur:

DE: There were rumors that you weren't injured at all but that you were just going back into rehab.

DM: Oh, I did! I did. I had a kidney stone, and there was something that happened. You go five years without doing any drugs, and they reintroduce narcotics into your system and I just said, "You know what? I can't do this." And I decided that I wanted to get my system cleaned out again. It wasn't like I was shooting heroin or anything like that. I basically wasn't feeling good, and I went to a treatment center to go get healthy, and to reestablish my understanding of what I need to do in order to be healthy.

Sleeping on arm: I've been falling asleep while I'm lying on my arm for over a decade (back in time when I had a rheumatic rumble in my right leg and could not sleep any pose but on my side) and got used to it. During that time my arm was wrapped around, pushed hard, stretched all the way, squeezed, turned clockwise-anticlockwise 360 degrees etc you can imagine and never, ever had any problems with that. I love Megadeth and respect Dave all the way but I can't believe that someone can rumble the arm in a single night that way... :33: :?: :scratchch :28:

I love Megadeth, but I'm not sure I buy any of these rumors/reasons as to why Dave's arm was MIA for awhile. I have my theories, but I also don't really care what happened. I'm just glad to see that Megadeth is back after taking a two album hiatus (Cryptic Writings and Risk weren't bad albums, they just weren't Megadeth).

So long as I can go to a Megadeth concert and here them kicking major ass once again, I will be happy.
