New to me anyways. I bought this off of our very own UberMetalDude. Special thanks to him for the great deal and fast shipping. I don't think he put much time on the guitar because it's basically in brand new condition. It sure as hell is in better condition than anything that is "new" at a Guitar Center.
I've been playing it for a couple of hours, aand I'm really liking it alot. I've only played one other Wolfgang in my life. That was maybe 8 years ago, and it was one of those Peavey EXP ones. I thought it was a good guitar, but this new one is great!!
The guitar plays fantastic. The neck is like silk. I love the way the guitar and pickups sound. It really really sounds great. I can tell that this guitar will be able to handle all kinds of gain, yet remain really clear with alot of clarity. I love the way the pickups sound when you go up high on the neck. They sound almost like you've switched over to the neck pickup. They get a really soft, smooth, and rounded tone to them. I've never heard another guitar/pickup do that.
I love how tight the Floyd Rose is on it. It feels so solid. I don't like the fact that I can't pull it up, but that's no biggie at all. I'm just used to pulling up on whammys because all the ones that I've played have been like that. I love, love, love having a D-Tuna on the tremolo. What a great freakin invention that is!!
It's kind of weird that the toggle switch is totally in reverse, but it doesn't bother me at all.
Anyways, I'm loving the guitar thusfar!!
