yeah it's too bad they don't make the WR pickup like they used to. dang cunife mags and whatnot. still last time I played a 72RI I thought it was still plenty useable tho... but I think if I owned one it'd be stuck on the bridge pickup 90% of the time anyways

Exactly. I know there is a pickup maker out there who makes actual WR reproductions (Lollar?) but I can't see myself dropping $200 on a pickup I use 5% of the time.

Update: Restrung it with 10's and it turns out that's all she needed to feel right! Got some strap lock buttons on it and she's ready to gig tomorrow night!

Yep, that's my little dude! He's 8 months old this week. He's been quite enamored with this particular guitar. Wonder if this one will be his when he's old enough.
