New member
A Suhr Antique Modern. Basswood body, maple top, lightly aged nitro finish, roasted maple neck and fingerboard. The pickups are an SSH+ bridge, Landau middle, SSV neck. Other tidbits are stainless Steel frets, Gotoh bridge, locking tuners

I am still getting to know it but it is pretty damn awesome.

Really nice! Play it in good health! How well does the bridge hold tuning?

(PS: Cool to see that you are still around. You were a regular at the guitar.com forum back when I started playing 15-odd years ago.)

The wood used to build that neck is some of the finest I've seen on an electric.

It stays in tune perfectly so far, though I am not really dive bombing. It is a floating bridge so I think I am going to install a Tremol-no so that I can lock it down when i want to go into a drop D or something.

Absolutely, one of the first things I noted when i picked it up was that the neck is made with a perfect piece of quarter sawn maple. While on the subject of maple, that the top is plain was a visual element of this guitar that appealed to me. I have to admit that I am a little bored of overly figured maple tops these days

I love the way the top looks. Understated and classy, and the grain still has a few interesting things going on. I hear nothing but good things about Shure guitars, but I've not had the opportunity to try one. Congrats on such a nice new guit-fiddle.

HNGD! She looks awesome! A Suhr is definitely on my bucket list of guitars to get. Suhr is legendary in terms of craftsmanship and quality. It doesn't hurt that they look killer as well! :headbang:

A Suhr modern is one of my dream guitars. Even worse, I really don't need and REALLY cannot justify another guitar yet, I can't stop wanting one. Playing a couple at my favorite guitar shop certainly didn't help either!!!
