New guitar innovation equipped with Seymour Duncan's

Re: New guitar innovation equipped with Seymour Duncan's

THat looks like a regular Kahler.

THey made one that could be fitted to a Les Paul with no mods.

About yr Gibson>
If it is a tune-o-m Gibson, when the strings are tightened, they pull the bridge towards the neck.
Sometimes it helps if You pull the bridge back towards the stop-tailpiece.
It can move 2-3mm, and it makes all the difference for the intonation.

Ok, thanks! I'll have a look at it!

yups...thats the one! Killer guitars btw! You so need an American dealer. I predict your guitars will be the new Parkers. I rarely get excited or gas for a new guitar design. But your guitar has both function, elegance and practicality. I can't wait to experience the performance of this guitar for myself. BTW, will you be offering a model with a piezo anytime soon? Your guitars encompasses everything a modern guitar strives to achieve but only your guitars can deliver.

Yes, that´s the Kahler PRO I spoke of, But the one in the second link is the exact model (They´re the exact same trem with a different mounting frame) ;)

GZeus: No mods, other than the rout ;)

THere was originally supposed to be a 100% mod-free version as well (IIRC Actually quite Similar to the Schaller design), but Kahler went belly up before that happened ;)

Is it REALLY one INCH deep?

man...

Maybe you guys would work something out with Floyd Rose/schaller to make another Tune-o-Matic Floyd?
it used the same baseplate as I recall, it just had a plate that mounted to the posts, and used a sprng system similar to the one the Schaller uses(makes sense, Schaller made(makes?) the Floyds, and so has the neccesary things/skills/knowledge etc).

I'd want the one with the Shcaller LP type, but I still think that Floyd was the best Floyd idea, well if it had been more adjustable.

Hi fatigueofheart,

Thanks for Yr opinions.

Personally I found it strange that we are often compared to Parker.
As I have understood they are making quite normal wooden guitars, but with special looks.

As I know, We are the first using a material which has been developed for a guitar, not something that has been before and then was just used for a guitar.

Our guitars have several structural inventions that has not been used earlier.
We are being everything what Parker is not, Parker is from earth we are from Mars, hah

You can order a custom shop model with a piezo.
By the way if a piezo is attached to the resonator, You get out a very good and useful Banjo sound. Flaxwood is a VERY versatile guitar, hah

Cheers

Hi,

Actually the Schaller LP tremolo works so well that we are not in a hurry to develop a locking tremolo model. Maybe in the future for the metal fanatics.

Locking tremolo is so huge and heavy piece of metal, that it kills the tone on any guitar, compared with same guitar with equipped with a solid bridge.

By the way how much does a real floyd weight? 1kg?

Cheers

Re: New guitar innovation equipped with Seymour Duncan's

Those guitars are quite beautiful and look very promising. Scandanavia is usually on the cutting edge of technology in many areas, so I'm not surprised that something like this is coming from that neck of the woods. I wouldn't be surprised if it's of amazing quality, either.

This may very well be the next stage of guitars. Limba and many other woods are VERY hard to come by any more, and some of the others are getting more scarce. If it gets to the point that it costs several thousand dollars just to get proper tone wood for a guitar, everyone will start looking for alternative materials. There have been some in the past, but this is the first I've seen that looks as good as a piece of exotic wood. It definitely could be the next big thing.

I think that if the guitars catch on, you'll find Floyd, Kahler, or someone making new accessories for it. Unfortunately, it costs them a lot to set up shop for a new line of bridges, so they're not willing to do it for a guitar that's not very popular or they won't be able to sell enough parts. I bet at least one of them can come up with the perfect tremelo for this guitar.

Good luck with your company. I'll be keeping my eye out for these in the future.

Re: New guitar innovation equipped with Seymour Duncan's

hey your guitars sound amazing on the sounds page, and they look killer as well. im a big fan of the blueburst color, and i think a blue rock burst would look really cool on ur guitars. the red rock burst and the tobacco rock bursts look amazing, nice job!

Re: New guitar innovation equipped with Seymour Duncan's

Hey Flax,
Those guitars look amazing. Great job on everything and be sure to let us know when they go on sale in the U.S.

Re: New guitar innovation equipped with Seymour Duncan's

Thanks Guys for yr support!

Are we building here slowly some GAS?

We I don't mind since I'm suppose to make my living with these guitars and its not so easy to convince a player to buy a Martian guitar, so all the help is welcome.

I have compared our guitar to a electric car. Even if it could be proven that it is better then the old, it is a still long way to the buying decision.

The good old brands on the market are selling also a piece of history with the guitar. So when you buy a G or F your balls get bigger.
If You buy a Flaxwood You already got to have BIG Balls, hah

But it seems like you guys already have BIG BALLS, YEAH!

Cheers
