i might just go for a clear finish, should i go for gloss or satin? the maker suggested satin as gloss would reflect the light and the grain wouldn't look as good? what do you guys think?

Go with a satin or matte finish! And a TS would look nice on that!!!

Tobacco Sunburst....It'd look sweet on that guitar.

That one kinda looks like one I'm having built for me right now. If you really want to check something....I'd go to either Heritage guitars and see what they're puttin' on theirs or Gibson Custom shop.

Even though this is called "almond burst"....it looks a bit like honeburst (slightly lighter than a tocacco which is lighter than a vintage sunburst.)
