New guy in need of wiring help

Hey everybody, I'll start by pointing out that I tried to join the Dimarzio forum but was unable to...

So, I have Dimarzio Fred, Paf Pro and Evolution in my guitar, I bought a Schaller Megaswitch S and followed the wiring diagram (hsh3) on their website and it did not work out well. 16 hours wasted! I have one volume and one tone, their diagram is for 2 tone controls, I suspect this is where my failure comes from. Oh I'm using Seymour Duncan pots, the feel great btw

The evolution is a single coil (ISCV2BK)
I want neck Hb, split neck/mid, mid, mid/split bridge, bridge. Nothing fancy, I thought it would be simple...

I've found an Ibanez wiring diagram that will do what I need, now I just need to find an Otax VLX91! (The only one I found for sale is in Slovakia, the website looks like it was last updated in 2004, I'm not sending them my hard-earned!!)

As gregory was alluding to, every company has different color codes for their wires, so you will need to 'translate' so to speak.

I've translated the colours, that was the easy part. It's altering Schallers diagram with 2 tone controls to single that's got me stumped.

Actually I had a quick look...They state pretty clearly:

Yup. And what about the other words on tone 2? It's not clear, I've tried many things.

The other wires? You don't use them as far as I can tell.

Remove all wires for T2in the diagram
Move wire from wiper of Tone pot to connection 4 on the switch.

Do you have a multimeter? Or a picture of your wiring?

I'll have a go at that tonight (the cat's away!). I have a multimeter somewhere...

Well if it still doesn't work the multimeter will come in handy for troubleshooting. Let us know

Wow. So it seems I had taken a screen shot of 2 different Schaller wiring diagrams (HSH2 and HSH3) and got mixed up halfway through. Probably when I stopped for lunch. One is for outer coils mixed with the middle and one is for inner mixed with middle in positions 2 and 4. Thanks to kamanda-SD for the advice on deleting T2. Can't wait to get it back together again and see how it sounds!����
